JHD’s Carol Harmston-Dean given NCS ‘Independent Trainer’ status

with No Comments

This week the National Counselling Society agreed to give Carol Harmston-Dean ‘independent trainer’ status. Carol is the Managing Director and Founder of JHD Counselling. Following her move to Lancashire, she has been working to expand JHD Counselling here in Lancashire so as to offer both Counselling and Training Courses for new counsellors just as she has done previously over in East Anglia.

The new independent trainer status means Carol will be able to deliver counsellor training courses in her own right, in addition to the accreditations which JHD Counselling has received as a whole.

The National Counselling Society plays an important role in the UK in ensuring that mental health counselling is high-quality, robust, and safe. They maintain an accredited register of counsellors and organisations which meet their criteria and JHD is very pleased to see our counsellors develop and rise through the accreditation ranks which NCS maintains.
