Sue is a qualified Counsellor and Member of the National Counselling Society, adhering to their Code of Ethics.
Sue uses an integrative approach to counselling, incorporating Person Centred, Gestalt, CBT and Psychodynamic approaches. Sue strongly believes in the therapeutic relationship within the counselling setting and believes that every individual has the right to be given the time to be heard in a safe and confidential environment, allowing for personal growth.
Sue works creatively with children and young adults, using art and play therapy as appropriate.
Sue also works as a counsellor for the Road Victims Trust dealing with the trauma of bereavement following road traffic collisions.
